Brothers of Soul - A Lifetime

I found this song on Soul Sides a couple months back and it has quickly become a favorite.  Catchy, soulful, funky fresh.

The Three Degrees - Maybe

Ghostface Killah, my favorite member of Wu-Tang Clan, rapped over a sample of this song on his Fishscale album.  He didn't do it justice.  Give this song a minute or so; I promise it pays off.

The Chantels - Maybe (Original)

The Chantels, according to Wikipedia, "were the first black girl group to have nationwide success in the United States."  And they played their own instruments.  And they performed the original version of "Maybe," which, although more subdued, is pretty damn good in its own right.  Ch-ch-check it out.
